Neustift at the Bottom of the Stubaivalley
The far - stretched community area of Neustift begins about 4 km behind Fulpmes and reaches far into the glacier region, into the Unterberg – as well as the Oberberg - valley; the highest point at 3505m is the Zuckerhütl in the main crest of the Stubai Alps, directly on the Italian border.

The skiing and mountaineering village Neustift is the community centre, rich in tradition and dominated by the mighty village church .It spreads out on the alluvial fan of the Bachervalley. The view is all-embracing, and enjoyed best from the banks on the left side of the valley.
